Day and night vision
One of the most safety critical properties is the ability to visually confirm and understand the objects and situations that can compromise the vessels integrity. The ability to see what is out there, what the radar is detecting, the AIS objects, the chart elements, and situations that are about to take place, no matter the weather, vessel movement or light conditions.
The SECurus System will be a visualization tool for ensuring the integrity of the crew, the vessel and the environment.
- Day and night vision
A high resolutions day and low light camera with 22x optical zoom in addition to digital zoom, giving up to 66x zoom.
- Night vision
A high quality Infrared (IR) Camera with three fields of view (FOV) gives a crystal clear image in conditions of no light as well as in normal day light.
- Search light
A Xenon searchlight gives a visual pointing tool for illumination of objects and areas. The Xenon searchlight is also known as the iceberg light, which gives a visual indication when illuminating a floating iceberg.
