More activity, complexity and diversified operations in the same geographical area will potentially lead to confrontations and situations that can have legal or economical consequences. Documentation to ensure the correct grounds for decision-making, during legal action and distribution of responsibility is crucial. The SECurus system will enable the possibility of storing pictures and videos for documentation, in addition of giving a record of the situations before, during and after an arisen event. All information can be shared with other vessels or on-shore installations through the onboard data satellite system.
- Screenshots
Screenshots of the videos, navigation chart or RADAR can easily be stored and viewed.
- Classification of objects
Objects visible through the videos can be marked and will be stored as an object with information about time and position. Objects will be stored in an object log for viewing and sharing.
- Video
Both Infrared and day camera can record video. Videos will be stored in a video log, for viewing and sharing.
- Track-record / tachograph
All objects and information available on the navigation chart, the AIS and RADAR will be stored for a user defined period of time. With this the user can replay the events for documentation, further analysis or post decision making.
